Excitement as NYSC members receive N33,000 allowance
The Federal Government has fulfilled its promise to pay N33,000 to NYSC members as allowance.

Many of them in the early of hours of today began receiving bank alerts of N33, 000 NYSC allowance popularly known as ''alawee'' from the Federal government. The new allowance is almost 100 percent more from the N18,000 they were paid before.

I was neither denied US visa or at US Embassy. – Bishop Oyedepo

Earlier today, Thisday newspaper published a report claiming the clergyman was denied a visa at the United States embassy in Lagos state. Bishop David Oyedepo, the senior pastor of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, has denied reports claiming he was refused a visa by the US Embassy.   However, a statement released by the Chairman of the church’s editorial and media board, Prof. Sheriff Folarin, said Oyedepo was never at the US Embassy or Consulate on Thursday and was never denied a visa.
