The Ghanaian government has arrested three suspects over a plan to destabilize the country.  One of the suspects who was detained on Friday September 20, after security agencies monitored their activities for 15 months is said to be a medical doctor at Citadel Hospital which he used as a base to manufacture and store weapons. The small cache of weapons discovered included six pistols, three smoke grenades, two AK47 magazines, 22 IEDs and one long knife. Gunmen kidnap daughter of former ABU Vice Chancellor

The gunmen reportedly stormed the building located at Hayin Malam Jama’a in Sabon Gari LGA at about 11:30pm with sophisticated weapons. The daughter of former Vice Chancellor of the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria Prof. Abdullahi Mustapha,  Maryam Abdullahi Mustapha, has been abducted by gunmen who invaded her father's residence on Friday7th February . The security guard was shot by the men before they abducted the 35-year-old mother of three who was visiting her father from Lagos. An American man identified as Steven Weber Jr died during an underwater proposal which went wrong this week in Tanzania.  Steven Weber Jr. of Baton Rouge in Louisiana who proposed to his girlfriend, Kenesha during their trip to Tanzania this week never got to hear her say "YES" as he couldn’t hold his breath long enough to list all the things he loved about her. Antoine took to Facebook on Friday September 20, to confirm the death of her boyfriend in a touching tribute where she shared their final moments together.
