Official : Flying Eagles Winger Joins Norwegian Club Sandnes Ulf

Nigeria U20 international Maxwell Effiom has joined Norwegian First Division club Sandnes Ulf. Sandnes Ulf have offered the winger a three-year contract after impressing manager Bengt Sæternes during trials which lasted for five days. Although the Norwegian transfer window closes for business on Sunday, The Wolves are expected to unveil the Nigerian as from Monday, September 2. Effiom was a member of the Flying Eagles team to the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup, starting all their four matches during the tournament in Poland. The 19-year-old is joining Sandnes Ulf from Nigerian champions Enyimba of Aba. After 20 games in the Norwegian second tier, Sandnes Ulf occupy the 11th position in the table with 23 points.

Bukayo Saka has been given a glimmer of hope that he is in contention to be included in Arsenal's matchday squad for Sunday's eagerly anticipated Premier League match against North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur. Though Manager Unai Emery called up the teenage Nigerian winger to train with the first team at London Colney in St Albans on Saturday.  Wingers Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Nicolas Pépé, Reiss Nelson and Henrikh Mkhitaryan took part in the session and this suggests that Saka has a slim chance of making his first appearance of the season against Spurs.  To date the Hale End Academy product has played four matches for Arsenal's first team, the last coming against Blackpool in the FA Cup about eight months ago.  Despite Saka's limited first team experience, he showed signs of promise in the five matches he was involved in during the pre-season. Malcolm Ebiowei  the Nigeria U17 invitee made his competitive debut for Arsenal U18s as they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Southampton in the U18 Premier League on Saturday afternoon.  The attacking midfielder had previously made Arsenal U18 matchday squad back in the 2017-2018 season but was a non-playing substitute against Chelsea.  Today against the Saints, Ebiowei came on for Romania U16 international Catalin Cirjan in the 74th minute. One of the stars of the Gunners U16 side, he turns 16 years old early next month and will become eligible to sign scholarship forms at the Emirates Stadium outfit on July 1, 2020. Ebiowei was one of the exciting dual-eligible players invited to the Golden Eaglets in August but was advised to skip the training camp in Abuja.  Though Miguel Azeez and Nathan Oyedeji played the full game for Arsenal while David Agbontohoma started for Southampton,While Malcolm will be hopeful he gets to play again for Arsenal U18s after the international

Rick Ross  has finally revealed what led to his 2018 hospitalization and near-death experience after he suffered seizures. The 43-year-old rapper sat down with People magazine to talk about his new autobiography titled “Hurricanes.” The book details his life, childhood, rap beefs, stardom, and his battles.  According to him, the inspiration for the book came after his 2018 hospitalization for a major seizure that changed his life. “When I woke up in the hospital and I had so many people around me, so many homies, it felt like I was in V.I.P. or some s—,” he said. “But it was more like ‘Damn, we gotta do some special things.’ “It was the codeine. That mixed with the things I was drinking, the other drugs I was doing, and on top of not resting. [I don’t think] one particular thing would have killed me. But everything combined?”

EFCC arrest 19 staff of a fake investment company that defrauded people to the tune of two billion naira in Port Harcourt

  Port Harcourt’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC,  Zonal Office have arrested 19 staff of a fake investment company floating an alleged Ponzi Scheme that have defrauded members of the public to the tune of N2,000,000,000( Two Billion Naira only). The  company,  Bluekey Investment Club, operating from Sonia Mall, 42 Woji Road, YKC Junction, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, was registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission( CAC) as a Software Development and General Contracting Firm,  but allegedly veered into an interest-yielding  Ponzi Scheme with  ten percent (10%) weekly returns on investment over (6) Months.  The Scheme also promised total returns of invested capital after six (6) Months. Court orders the takeover of SEPLAT Petroleum chairman, ABC Orjiako's assets over AMCON debt

The Federal High Court in Abuja has granted the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) application to take over the assets of the Chairman of SEPLAT Petroleum Development Company,   Ambrosie Orjiako .   The court also ordered the take over of the assets of two of Orjiako’s affiliate companies, Shebah Exploration & Production Company Limited and Allenne Limited. SEPLAT Petroleum is a Nigerian independent oil and gas company operating a portfolio of oil and gas assets in Nigeria’s Niger Delta region.   The court order, issued on August 15th, was accompanied with letters to the Managing Directors of 29 commercial and merchant banks in the country where Mr Orjiako and his allies have accounts. The order followed an application by Mojisola Owoseni of Lexavier Partners, legal practitioners, legal counsel to AMCON in suit number FHC/ABJ/CS/945/19 against ABC Orjiako, Shebah Exploration & Production Company Limited, with RC No 499348, and Allenne Limited
